Encap Drug Delivery are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Jane Fraser to the position of R&D Director. Dr Fraser will be responsible for the Research and Development functions within the company (including Formulation and Process Development, Analytical Development, QC and Project Management) and will be accountable for the successful delivery of client projects throughout the development phases. Jane will also be directly involved in the development of existing Encap technologies and the identification and set up of new oral drug delivery technologies within the company.

Jane has over 11 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Industry and immediately prior to joining Encap Drug Delivery was Director of Pharmaceutics at Aptuit (formerly Quintiles). She has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biochemistry and a PhD from the University of Paisley, Scotland. Jane joined Quintiles in 2001 as a Senior Formulation Scientist and rapidly progressed through supervisory and Management roles at the company. ‘Jane comes to Encap with an outstanding track record in product development and we are looking forward to having her energy and expertise contribute to the continuing growth and development of the Encap business' said Dr Stephen Brown.
