Encap Drug Delivery underwent a routine MHRA inspection covering all licensed activities at the end of April 2009. There were no critical or major findings. The inspection report indicates that ‘the site was found to be well organised and maintained with a good level of competence of staff. The output of the inspection and the lack of discriminatory factors support a risk level of IV with a next planned inspection in 30 months.’

A risk level IV is the minimum risk level rating that could have been achieved by Encap on this inspection. This is excellent news for Encap and ongoing confirmation of the commitment of the company to meet the needs of worldwide Regulatory agencies.
