Robbie obtained a degree in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry  in 1993 and then obtained a PhD in Chemistry in 1996, both from the University of Strathclyde. 

Robbie has over 12 years experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry, predominantly with companies providing contract services to pharma and biotech clients.  After working with The Boots Company as part of their graduate programme, he has held senior sales positions with Cardinal Health (now Catalent Pharma Solutions), Almedica International who were subsequently acquired by Aptuit and more recently Keats Healthcare.
